Our classes engage in a daily schedule that includes large group and small group activities, free-play, snack, outdoor play, story time as well as music and movement experiences. Teachers intentionally craft experiences that support children's development across all developmental domains. The curriculum is designed to support learning progressions in Cognition, Creativity, Physical Health and Development, Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, and Social-Emotional Development as outlined in the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards. We also work in partnership with the THS Child Development staff to provide early childhood field experience for the high school students. We foster a sense of community among the preschool and high school students to create a rewarding experience for all students.
